36hr trip to Pulley Ridge for up to 6 people. We Plan to leave the dock at 1:30 am and return 36 hours later, usually around 2 pm. $8,500
This is an epic trip to a very special place that most people will never have the opportunity to fish. We travel 140-180 miles offshore to our first destination around daylight and start deep dropping with electric reels. We target Grouper (Snowy and Yellowedge), Golden and Blue Line Tilefish, and Snapper (Queen and Yelloweye mutton.) For an additional $500 we can also target Warsaw Grouper. During daylight hours we will also target other pelagic fish such as Tuna, Dolphin (Mahi-Mahi), and Wahoo. Once the sun starts to set, we head out further and set nighttime swordfish baits. While drifting for swordfish there will be time to rest and eat. We drift for swords until around 4am. Then we start the journey back towards the dock while hitting a few more Grouper and/or Red Snapper (in season) spots along the way. By now, the fish box is usually stuffed with the day’s catch! We try to be back at the dock around 2pm. There will be a lot of fish to clean and unpacking to do on the boat.
*Although this is the trip of a lifetime to fish waters that most will never see, it is not a trip for everyone.
